You can apply to become a candidate for the Anti-Racism Office until 13 June 2025. This office is elected by all students and serves as an important contact point for those affected by racism and discrimination at TUHH.

What does the Anti-Racism Office do?

The office supports and connects students with experiences of racism, works to reduce structural discrimination at the university, organizes anti-racist educational activities, and ensures transparency through an annual public report. It also serves as an independent monitoring body within university politics.

The office consists of a main representative and a deputy, who are elected according to the number of votes received.

How can I apply?

If you would like to apply, please nominate yourself and use the following application form: https://www.asta.tuhh.de/dokumente/113/AStA-Antira-Kandidaturvorlage.pdf . The form requires information about your name, address, the candidacy declaration and your official election manifesto. Send the completed form by email to wahl@asta.tuhh.de . Alternatively, you can pick up and return the form in person at the AStA secretariat (Room E0.068; at Mrs. Maja Meiser). The application deadline is 13 June 2025 (inclusive).

After the application period ends, all candidates will be informed about the next steps by email. Starting 16 June 2025, each candidate will likely receive a dedicated budget for election campaigning. All important details will be shared with you after the application phase.

Notice: At the election both, the main chairperson and the secondary chairperson will be elected, depending on the person with the most and secend to most votes.

Election dates

The election will take place on 30 June 2025 (09:00–16:00) and 01 July 2025 (09:00–15:00) in the foyer in front of Audimax 2.
